đã có lời nhận xét ưu ái và chân tình sau khi đọc hai tập “Đương Luật bát cú
thi” của tôi gửi tặng, với 213 bài thơ chuyên loại “thất ngôn bát cú” được “sản
xuất” trong năm 2008-2009. (Một phần lớn đã được đăng trên blog này). Đây là
một niềm vui và sự động viên rất quý giá đối với tôi. Được người đọc không “bịt
tai, bịt mũi” và đôi khi còn “tũm tỉm” cười nữa đã là hạnh phúc lắm rồi. Với
tôi làm thơ để vui và tự giải tỏa, nhưng tự biết chơi kiểu này là phải lao động
nghiêm túc và trách nhiệm, phải tự mày mò học hỏi và được sự góp ý khuyên bảo

"đường luật bát cú thi" của thi lão Hồ Văn Thiện do đại tá Phạm Thanh
Cải chuyển cho. Anh em biết nhau trên Blog đã lâu mà chưa một lần gặp mặt, vậy
mà Hồ lão vẫn dành cho LTP những tình cảm thân thiết như anh em. Bấy lâu vào
"ngôi nhà" blog của Hồ lão thấy ông thường viết những bài đường thi
nhiều hơn những thể thơ khác và trang blog của ông có lẽ là trang duy nhất hiện
nay có số lượng cũng như khách cập nhật ghé thăm thường xuyên đông nhất đối với
thể thơ này.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1cm; line-height: normal"><span style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman','serif'">Khoan hãy nói tới nghệ thuật và những câu chữ văn vẻ về thơ.
Mà cảm nhận đầu tiên đó là sự ham mê yêu thích của một người làm thơ đối với
thể thơ đã trở thành truyền thống từ lâu nay trên đất nước ta, nhưng không hề
dễ làm và dễ cảm bởi những quy tắc về niêm luật, vần điệu và những giới hạn từ
ngữ đến khắt khe và gò bó... Vì vậy kể cả hiện tại được coi là thời kì
"phát lộ" của thơ Đường luật song số người chơi và làm thể thơ này
cũng không nhiều, vẫn chiếm một tỉ lệ khiêm tốn trong tất cả các tầng lớp người
làm thơ chuyên và không chuyên. Cũng có nhiều người say mê và sành điệu về thơ
đường luật mà bất cứ tỉnh thành, phường xã nào cũng có, nhưng để có cả hàng nhiều
trăm bài thơ và thường niên cứ đều đều tập hợp lại thành từng tập, mỗi tập cả
trăm bài thì không phải ai cũng có và cũng làm được. <span> </span>Vậy mà Hồ Văn Thiện ông đã làm và đã có tới
tập thứ năm và đang chuẩn bị cho ra tập thứ sáu (tất nhiên ông chưa cho qua nhà
xuất bản theo phép tắc. Tôi nghĩ điều đó khó với mức thu nhập của một người về
hưu như ông). Đọc từng tập thơ mà ông cẩn thận xắp xếp theo từng đề tài, từng
cách chơi (xướng hoạ) mới thấy ông cầu kì và trân trọng mỗi bài thơ, mỗi tác
phẩm của ông và cả của bạn bè thế nào. Nó bài bản, nếp phép và chỉn chu đối với
mỗi trang thơ mỗi tập thơ dù chỉ là tập thơ in ấn "phát hành nội bộ".</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1cm; line-height: normal"><span style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman','serif'">Cái tình trong thơ ông lúc nào cũng chan chứa, nồng nàn và
chân thật. Cái tính cách ngay thẳng, phép tắc trong quan hệ bang giao bạn hữu
và giữa những người chơi thơ làm thơ được ông trân trọng và luôn gìn giữ thể
hiện đúng mực, thành tâm và trong sáng. <span> </span>Mặc
dù ông là người sống có sự hài hước, hóm hỉnh, vui vẻ và đôi khi tếu táo trong
những comments đối với bạn bè.<br />
Những bài đường thi của ông thường xoay quanh mấy chủ đề chính là sự phê phán
những thói hư tật xấu trong cuộc sống, trong xã hội. Trào lộng và tự trào trước
những câu chuyện, những hiện tượng và những hành vi bất chợt xảy ra trong đời
sống hàng ngày, là một thế mạnh trong thơ ông, những bài thơ về mảng này được
ông viết với số lượng nhiều hơn cả. Và một đề tài không thể thiếu đó là những
tâm sự riêng tư, những trăn trở, sẻ chia và nỗi niềm trước nhân tình thế
thái...Đặc biệt Hồ Văn Thiện đã hết sức tinh tế và trân trọng trước bạn bè thông
qua những lần xướng họa. Những người chơi tham gia xứơng hoạ với ông trên mạng
cũng như ngoài đời ông đều trân trọng và đáp lễ đầy đủ, chỉn chu.</span></p>

cả quá trình viết của mình ở bất cứ mảng nào, bài nào ông cũng viết với tất cả
nhiệt huyết và với một tấm lòng nhân ái, bao dung . Không lớn tiếng, không hằn
học và không vượt ra ngoài cái khuôn khổ của tính nhân văn. Nếu muốn tìm một sự
quảng bá, tuyên ngôn gì trong thơ ông thì không thể lấy đâu ra bởi thơ ông
không phải là thứ thơ ngợi ca rẻ rúng bắng nhắng và viết để lưu danh...Đọc và
chơi cùng ông trong mỗi lần xướng hoạ, thấy rằng ông có cách nhìn nhận và chơi
theo kiểu của mình đó là thơ để giải toả thơ để bồi bổ trí tuệ để giao lưu bạn
bè và góp một tiếng cười nhẹ nhàng cùng mọi người cho cuộc đời này thêm hương
sắc thế thôi.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1cm; line-height: normal"><span style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman','serif'">Nhìn nhận và đánh giá về nghệ thuật cũng như những vấn đề có
tính nguyên lí <span> </span>( chuyên môn) và bài bản
rồi cả sự "bác học" về thơ luật đường trong thơ ông tôi không có đủ
khả năng và không dám đụng đến vấn đề to tát này. Chỉ dám nói rằng Hồ Văn Thiện
là người hiểu biết và nắm khá chắc, khá chuẩn mực về những nguyên tắc khắt khe
của thể thơ này, những bài thơ của ông không dễ dãi không buông thả về niêm
luật và phép tắc. Tuy nhiên sự vận dụng và đổi mới trong một vài chừng mực về
câu chữ về những vế đối thì ông có sự sáng tạo và thử nghiệm nhất định (mà đổi
mới trong ngôn ngữ từ lệ cổ cho đến ngôn ngữ phổ thông như thời hiện đại này
thì đó là sự cần thiết để cho thơ không bị nhàm chán sáo mòn ...) Trong đó có
cả thành công và chưa thành công. Điều đó khó tránh nhưng nói như bác Lê Khả Sỹ
một người khó tính đối với thơ đường luật thì đọc nó không thấy
"chối" không thấy đến mức phải "bịt mũi, bịt tai".</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1cm; line-height: normal"><span style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman','serif'">Với thơ nói chung và với đường thi nói riêng thì làm được
như vậy thật chẳng dễ gì, bởi nói như ai đó đã nói thì "thơ là sự khổ ải
đến cùng cực, là sự hành xác đến quằn quại của con người" (nghe khiếp quá)
nhưng có lí , nếu anh không nghiêm khắc với mình, không tự coi trọng mình và
không chịu trui rèn từng câu từng chữ mà chỉ viết ra theo mỗi cơn hứng thì có
làm sao được những câu thơ, những bài thơ mà khi đọc lên nghe lọt tai, coi vừa
mắt. Bài thơ hay hay chưa hay hãy khoan nhận xét nhưng nghe mỗi từ mỗi câu
trong bài thơ thấy nó trong sáng và trôi chảy có nghĩa rằng người viết ra nó đã
có sự đầu tư tư duy và suy ngẫm... Còn ai cũng có những bài thơ hay và chưa hay
của mình, dù rằng thơ "phường ,thơ xã, hay thơ trung ương, thơ mang nhãn
mác" vv...đều có hay và có dở chứ đâu ai là thánh ai là người trần mắt
thịt đối với thơ đâu.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1cm; line-height: normal"><span style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman','serif'">Với Hồ Văn Thiện cũng vậy nhưng trong ông, đọc và giao lưu
qua những vần thơ đường luật thì thấy rằng : Ông là một người yêu thơ, một
người tâm huyết với thơ và có trách nhiệm hết mình với mỗi câu thơ với từng bài
thơ của mình viết ra. Tôi cho rằng thành công trong sự "rèn luyện"
trí não của ông chính là nhân cách người thơ. Như thế thôi cũng đáng trân trọng
và đáng để cho ta suy ngẫm học hỏi lắm rồi. Mà trước hết là chính tôi , tôi đã
học ở ông rất nhiều, đã quý mến và coi trọng ông như một người anh một người
bạn thơ thân thiết từ lâu. </span></p>

Kính gửi bác Hồ văn Thiện và Người Làng Vân Tra ( anh Lương Thế Phiệt) cùng các
anh , chị và các bạn trên vnweblogs. Em cũng có may mắn được bác Thiện tặng hai
tập thơ đường ( tập 4 và tập 5 ) với số lượng trên hai trăm bài và 120 bài thơ
bốn câu. Vì thời gian của em có hạn do vẫn phải đi làm nên em chỉ có thể đọc
khi có thời gian cho phép ( em thích đọc thơ vào thời điểm yên tĩnh, thảnh thơi
thì lúc đó thơ mới "thấm " ), sau một ngày làm việc căng thẳng, thơ
của bác Thiện làm cho tâm lý em đỡ mệt mỏi, đầu óc được thư giãn, bởi những vần
thơ của bác rất trong sáng, giản dị, những chủ đề bác viết gần gũi với cuộc
sống đời thường mà với em thì đó là điều rất quý. Em cũng có sự đồng cảm với
những ý kiến của anh Phiệt:"... ai cũng có những bài thơ hay và chưa hay
của mình, dù rằng thơ phường ,thơ xã, hay thơ trung ương, thơ mang nhãn mác
vv... "<span> </span>vì thế những khiếm khuyết
trong khi viết là điều không tránh khỏi. Điều đáng quý là tâm huyết của người
viết được gửi hồn vào từng con chữ. Em rất trân trọng những bài viết của bác
Thiện cùng các anh, chị và các bạn trên sân chơi vnweblogs này. Với em mọi
người đều là những người bạn thân quý và trân trọng, tiếc là do quỹ thời gian
có hạn nên em không đọc được hết tất cả các trang, hoặc có đọc nhưng không ghi
cảm nhận. Cảm ơn bác Thiện đã tặng em món quà quý giá đầu xuân, bác là một
trong những bậc cao niên đáng được chúng em học tập về phong cách sống vui ,
sống khỏe, sống có ích mà chúng em cùng con cháu cần noi gương. Em có vài lời
xuất phát từ tấm lòng chân thật, không giả dối. Có điều gì sơ xuất em mong được
bác Thiện cùng mọi người thông cảm và lượng thứ.</span></p>
